• 40 years of experience at Råstoff AS, Tinfos and Eramet Norway AS in positions connected to laboratory, production, R&D and environmental work within manganese alloys production.

  15 års erfaring som konsulent og rådgiver innenfor forretningsutvikling og ledelse

 

Other relevant experience:

 

• Guest researcher at Mefos from 1997 to 1998.

• Two periods as chairman of FFF board (Norwegian Ferroalloy Producers Research Association) and member of FFF board between 2008 and 2018.

• Development of ilmenite processes from 1990 to 1993.

• Consultancy work for Innovasjon Norway and Eyde Cluster. 

 

 

Education:

 

• Chemical engineer in analytical chemistry from Agder Distriktshøgskole.

• M.Sc. in process metallurgy at NTNU.

 

Main professional responsibilities:

• Production manager pre-reduction plant TTI, Tinfos Titan and Iron.   

• Production manager Tinfos, Øye Smelteverk.

• Project manager / process development Tinfos.

• Technical marketing of silicomanganese Tinfos.

• Technical director Eramet Norway 2012 – 2018. Including responsibility for process, R&D and contact with authorities on environmental issues.

• Monitoring of emissions, reduction of emissions and development of landfills for hazardous waste.

• Senior engineer Eramet Norway 2018 – 2021. Focus on environmental projects and valorization of waste- and by-products.
